An Executive Level Conference for All Members of the Projection Industry
Business, marketing, and technology leaders from all levels of the projector value chain will be gathering again this year for the third annual Projection Summit Conference. The Summit provides a unique opportunity for ProAV channel companies to meet with top market researchers as well as projection system branders, integrators and component suppliers to participate in stimulating sessions and discussion of key industry trends and issues.
Insight Media (www.insightmedia.info) and McLaughlin Consulting Group (www.mcgweb.com) will once again manage the 2004 Projection Summit (PS04) in conjunction with Infocomm 04 at the Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia. We will get back to the Monday-Tuesday schedule this year with sessions on June 7-8.
New this year are sessions focused on key market opportunities in education and accessing channel support form ProAV companies. As the K-12 and higher education markets pick up steam, presentations by education industry experts will help system makers refine their strategies and target increased penetration. For high-end applications, another session will assist projector branders and integrators in accessing the ProAV channel.
All of this will be added to the proven sessions of the past. Specific sessions dealing with value chain issues will include:
- Illumination: Lifetimes, standardization, and pricing
- Microdisplays: Strategy reports from Texas Instruments, Seiko Epson, and LCOS leaders
- Electronics: Impact of convergence on performance and pricing
- Supply Chain: Reports from Asian manufacturing leaders
In addition to the education and high performance vertical markets, other market track sessions will include:
- How can ProAV support IT projector branders in Enterprises?
- Key vertical market reports: Churches, 3D/Viz, C&C, Networked advertising
And of course we will once again present our annual forecast debate featuring a panel of the leading industry analysts who will present, discuss, and debate their 5-year forecasts for the projection industry.
